It's a combination that puts him at the top of his profession. Dr. Michelman is the Medical Director of the Morton Plant Mease Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. He is a Professor at the College of Medicine, University of South Florida, and as if that weren't enough, the State of Florida, Division of Medicare, as appointed him to be the Medical Director of Patient Management. All that being said, it should be noted that Mark Michelman has a finely tuned sense of humor, and one of his most fascinating and exciting projects is the clinical research that is being conducted to determine the benefits of humor in medicine.
